Who Knew My Love Would Be You. Sitting on a stoop for a busk. Hustling for a day and a buck. Singing songs the Mermaid knew. Who knew my love would be you. Saturday moves into a loft, poetry and vodka talk - Keats and Yeats and Dr. Seuss - who knew my love would be you. A midnight kiss, just a kiss twisting in the wind. But, the Libra knew all these clues that my love would be you. Serenades on AstroTurf searching for a song in her words. Strong enough to tell the truth, who knew my love would be you. The rain has left on cloudy days. The stage is set for sunny ways. Chekhov's singing Billie's blues. Who knew my love would be you. A midnight kiss, just a kiss twisting in the wind. But, the Libra knew all these clues that my love would be you. Who knew my love would be you.

Have Fun Tonight Oh yea all right let's have fun tonight. I don't know much about authority except for love and peace and society. I don't really need any casualties as I search for more beyond anarchy. Oh yea all right let's have fun tonight. I don't know much about philosophy but ideology seems to disagree. The pen is a sword, an umbilical cord stretched across the news of these Wall Street blues. Oh yea all right let's have fun tonight. Man is a myth, is an monolith cracked to the soil of endless toil. Wisdom is a thought on an auction lot where the highest bid ain't what you got. Oh yea all right let's have fun tonight, let's have fun tonight.

Dear Carousel Healing through these coves we share a charm between this shore. And I know the feeling that begins to spread across this dusty floor. And I know riding on a carousel to win against the wind. Planted on your moonshine eyes framed in midnight blue. And I know the scented evening sparkles with a hint of crystal rue. And I know riding on a carousel to win against the wind. Tugging on these comfort strings and searching more than what life brings. Swinging by a wedding ring and perched upon these notes we sing. Holding to sustain the rhythm in my veins. Peppered by an evening dress that flows right on cue. And I know the center of our atmosphere is filled with mental hues. And I know the caption of our story reads like twilight in New York. And I know the traction of my words dance like champagne without a cork. And I know riding on a carousel to win against the wind.

Only In A Memory Picture, picture blow away a memory is not so easy to save. A kiss is just a kiss. I have to stop singing love songs. Perfumed lady downtown street she's smiling, she's smiling can't you see? she's breathing, she's breathing she's breathing deep in a melody. And the sunrise is somewhat of a surprise. Only in a memory. And, I have to stop singing love songs.

Sweeping Up The Floor Too many victims and so little time, I can tell by your picture that you love to lie. Don't look back as you slam the door. I don't really care I'm just sweeping up the floor, sweeping up the floor. Lose in love, some love you forgot. I can tell by your grin it's a sin to give up. Don't look back as you ask for more. I don't really care I'm just sweeping up the floor, sweeping up the floor. Sometimes you have to run without your gun, without your mother. Who's that lurking hunched over a rail? Sometimes you can't tell if it's the devil's tale. Don't show me. I've been there before. I don't really care I'm just sweeping up the floor, sweeping up the floor. Who are you knowing when there's no one around picking up the pieces with a smile and not a frown? Don't look back as your eyes beg me so. I don't really care I'm just sweeping up the floor, sweeping up the floor. Sometimes you have to run without your gun, without you mother. Too many victims and so little time, I can tell by your picture that you love to lie. Don't look back as you slam the door. I don't really care I'm just sweeping up the floor, sweeping up the floor, sweeping up the floor.

Follow You, Dreamland Bunny (Love Is Your Ego) Love, love is your ego and love, love can't be your friend. You want to be left alone cause the other one left you alone - fine! But, don't define the universe with yours and mine cause love, love is your ego. Truth be told - I still don't want you to kinda' leave anyway. Truth be told. Truth be sold - You love another punk who isn't here anymore. Truth be mold. Love, love is your ego and love, love can't be your friend. Love. We met at the end of your last embrace and what's your case for why he's gone? You tumble through life's circus with emptiness and empty arms. You think you know a lot with your blogs and your charms. But, the world is nothing more than a bowl of Cheerios. And, love love is your ego and love, love can't be your friend. Love... Ego.

August Nights We were skipping on the 8th Street Bridge, ice cream cones, summer gnats and old friends. Rosa's ghost was standing next to us your mom, your dad - the place where you born. Sharing in me your life I'm sharing with you, I never knew a person as sweet as you. But now, I'm left here to fall asleep and dream of those August nights. You slipped along a shore and a lighthouse scheme, monologues and Desdemona's crown. I could never frown in these arms with you. Blue is the lake, the canto and the scene. I'm falling deep and fast and long, yea. You're everything, beauty and the sky. But now, I'm left here to fall asleep and dream of those August nights. I never thought a day could be so pure, yea. I never thought that you would be the cure. But now, I'm left here to fall asleep and dream of those August nights, and dream of those August nights.

Charlton Heston Can you watch, can't tell the story even find an allegory place a finger, pull the trigger. Have a right to kill at will don't have enough for a doctor's bill, but have enough for an Exxon spill. Contraception, an old man's pleasure Jesus Christ is how we measure how much gold is in this treasure. 'merica's where it's at don't sell me tacos from a hat just give me slop that makes me fat. Run, run with your gun Run, run have some fun Feel, feel, feel the sun Heal, heal everyone Charlton Heston, he died for your sins. Here son, have a gun. Georgia peach start to teach how to shoot while you preach how you love at what you reach. Lick your wounds and lick your palms fold your hands and remain calm as you judge yourself against the Psalms, the Psalms. Run, run with your gun Run, run have some fun Feel, feel, feel the sun Heal, heal everyone Charlton Heston, he died for your sins Here son, have a gun. Jesus is here for you. Jesus is here for me. Jesus will shoot you free. Freedom! Run, run, run... Shoot me... Charlton Heston, he died for your sins Here son, have a gun. Jesus is here for you. Jesus is here for me. Jesus will shoot you free.

Our Weary Feat. Where are you going? Where is your gun? Don't you know that it's a race? When you walk around and you're feeling down and you stop for a drink, you sit and wonder why this officer will tell you what to think. Where are you going? Where is your gun? Don't you know that it's a race? When you're on the streets and the city's fine and the darkness starts to creep, I hope you understand what I need to do 'cause you don't look like me. Where are you going? Where is your gun? Don't you know that it's a race? When you point a finger at the common man and blame entitlement, do you feel the same with your corporate stamps that bails out all you spent? Where are you going? Where is your gun? Don't you know that it's a race? When you lie down and fall asleep what dreams do you see - the riches that you gained from your trust fund drain or the end to poverty? Where are you going? Where is your gun? Don't you know that it's a race? When you sell peace on a borrowed lease then deny an Other's loan, green is the shade that keeps you color blind except with opaque tones. Where are you going? Where is your gun? Don't you know that it's a race?

Don't You Want Me (Like You Do) Don't you want me like you do dressing real nice for the Summer time Winter's around the corner but I'm feeling fine singing don't you want me like you do Don't I need you like I do sitting across the table by candlelight staring through the scope of a lover's eye singing don't I need you like I do Coming down with views of compromise living out our days with alibis as I wonder I wonder, I wonder what is left for us to do Don't we feel it like we do crashing through the craze of common skies flashing through the fields of timid minds singing don't we feel it don't we feel it don't you want me don't I need you don't you want me.

Motown 04:01
Motown I'm just playing love songs from yesterday. Smokey and the Temptations Aretha and Marvin Gaye. You know that I have sunshine on a cloudy day. I have everything that I need, babe except your heart's okay. I don't need a reason or a morning smile. I don't need a decision not for awhile. I'll always share your passion sitting on the dock of the bay. I have everything that I need, babe except your heart's okay today, today. I'm standing on my rooftop, I'm staring at the sky. These tracks of my tears they can't say goodbye. Where did our love go the message got delayed. I have everything that I need, babe except your heart's okay today, today, today. I'm lost here standing in the shadows of your love. What's the cost dear when I pray to God above? What's the chance here for us to find romance as we meet at the dark end of the street? You are precious like a ruby to the eye. They call me Mr. Pitiful, but I don't seem to mind. These tears of a clown they always seem to wipe away... I have everything that I need, babe except your heart's okay today, today today.

Guitar Man 02:59
Guitar Man Hey, I'm the guitar man I'm here to play you a song. I said Hey, I'm the guitar man I'm here to play you a song But, you better tune the guitar, baby 'cause you don't want to play it wrong. Give me a bottle of whiskey. Give me a bottle of scotch. Give me a bottle of everything every little thing that you've got. But, don't forget the corkscrew, baby 'cause the wine is around the block I said Hey, I'm the guitar man I"m here to play you a song. I said Hey, I'm the guitar man I want you to sing along. But, if you forget the lyrics, baby you can just hum along. I said Hey (Hey) I'm the guitar man... but, if you forget those lyrics you can hum along.

Leopard On The Moon A river in the morning somewhere facing East I'm sitting here in mourning in the shadow of love's beast I tremble with my eyes like an infant in demise I don't even understand why I had to say good-bye A dent in our story glory in the mud my heart is exploding and falling with a thud A miracle has vanished into plumes of passion pies I don't even understand why I had to say good-bye The road less not taken is lost Do's and don'ts and dust is the cost like a leopard on the moon I cast a doubt and I move without a choice but life A river in the morning somewhere facing East I'm sitting here in mourning in the shadow of love's beast I tremble with my eyes like an infant in demise I don't even understand why I had to say good-bye

Always Say 'Goodbye' Every time I see you I just want to be near you right here by your side. Every time I hear you I just want to feel you right here by my side. And I don't understand what it means to be your 'man.' And I'm just waiting here, I'm waiting for all these tears. Every time we do this we wind up embraced in a kiss and always say 'goodbye.' Everywhere we've traveled things seem to unravel which brings us back to here. Everywhere we've suffered we search for brand new lovers which brings us back to here. And I don't understand what it means to be your 'man.' And I'm just waiting here I'm waiting for all these tears. Every time we do this we wind up embraced in a kiss and always say 'goodbye.' Waiting by the fire of a paper moon. I don't know what's left to do. You wear your evening gown as I have fallen to the ground on my knees and praying for you. Every time I see you I just want to be near you right here by your side.

November So, I caught the sky in your eyes in the wind. So, you realized my crooked smile and grinned. Can we say that it's okay to fade away and begin? to push a swing and find our dreams inside of our life's bin? So, you pushed and shoved and felt some love with some guilt. So, you turned away to stay away from the pain. Can we say that it's okay to turn the page on November? stop and sigh remember why we were brought together? Tethered to your soul and something, nothing more... I'm holding on to let you go. I'll find a time when you'll be mine and you will know, you will know. So, this time we'll wait don't hesitate to call. So, I'll find you dear when I am near to fall in your arms again to turn the page on November.

America's On My Back Like A Suicidal Monkey The dawn was breaking and then it disappeared. Red sparks in the sky caused all the fear. The falter of faith was in my eyes. The passion of prayer was in my mind. The food became scarce, the rivers went dry. The giants of industry had cut off the supply Those purple mountains are hard to see in this sweet land of liberty. Will God ever shed his grace on thee? America's on my back just like a suicidal monkey. We fought the battle and wounded our souls. Though we won the battle, we wounded our souls. Felt poor at the bottom where the rich are top. We always find our dinner on a corporate stock. The big log cabin I built with my hands turns into ash and grains of sand. Those purple mountains are hard to see in this sweet land of liberty. Will God ever shed his grace on thee? America's on my back just like a suicidal monkey.

Moscow 02:52
Moscow I can always feel you smiling through the clouds. I can hear you whisper something pure and proud. I catch this sight and I shiver tonight 'cause these covers don't cover me all right. Snare drum and these turquoise earrings make me dream of you. I'm stuck in an obstacle. Moscow is the ruse. Time will tick into a barrel echoing my blues. I know I'll see you on a Sunday bringing me some jet lag on my birthday. Coffee cups and big blue eyes make me yearn for you. I know we see the distance through ocean eyes. Your Russian moonlight is caused by my sunrise. I look up to the sky and I see you crying with tears of joy there's no denying everyday and every way - I know that I love you.

Lost Planet 03:23
Lost Planet In the beginning of our time between Jupiter and Mars there was a planet full of life the pride of all the universe. There were rivers flowing free and there were mountains climbing high and there were flowers and trees and there were birds up in the sky. There were many countries two of them were proud. One was in the North, the other in the South. And the people of the North had their castles filled with gold to distribute as they said, 'To the hungry and the old.' And the people of the South had their pockets made of stone and they said that 'Everyone could be free to have his own.' Every other country had to choose a side - for only the North the South could decide. There were powerful weapons governing the sky and though what they believed they were about to die. The Scientists had warned them the Music Man was crying the Philosophers had told them they were set on dying. And then they went to war to satisfy their lust and everything was lost the planet turned to dust. In the beginning of our time between Jupiter and Mars there was a planet full of life the pride of all the universe, the pride of all the universe.

Ocean 02:49
Ocean ‘Can we stay’ the Ocean seems to say pressed against the moonlight in decay. Falling to a Mystic in the shade. Made of clay, he always seems to fade. Renaissance inside the water’s haze is running by a Maiden in a maze. Will escape help her find a way to a place where she kneels down and prays? Will the light shed an other’s rite to pull the weeds and reveal the blight? But these waves endure the sandy graves that wash ashore leaving empty caves. She intrigues the world that she creates attempts to lure as she tempts the fates. His echoed mind translates to corner eyes and begins to steep before she starts to rise. Haunting zeal begins to escalate to a hymn that seems to resonate like a fog that needs to find a place to rest one’s soul on some withered lace. ‘Can we stay’ the Ocean seems to say hindered by a tide that wants to stray. ‘Can we go’ the Ocean seems to know.

Ray 03:08
Ray He's Ray walking around in the rain though he likes the snow. Running around looking for his bone or some food. He sits and grins. He's Ray cuddling up for the day. Boy, he'd like some food! Chasing a cat down a Brooklyn street with defeat. He barks, then stops. He's Ray. Bow Wow Woof, Woof Where did you go? It's time to go for your walk and a talk. Why did you leave? I had to stop and grieve. Oh, how I grieved. It's OK cause you loved us so, and you did. We love you Ray! He's Ray.

Sailing Away 02:51
Sailing Away A color of Hellas though American I am born traveling down a road where I have sworn that life is a pleasant immigrant on a throne searching for love beyond the scorn. Frightened by the few who offer me some truth as I'm sailing, sailing. sailing sailing away to get home to you. A temple where regret takes a knee for me to pray and offer some sympathy today... Yet, I am but a toiler with my footprint in the mud the thudding clouds are tempting me to cave. A flower on a mule who hasn't got a clue as I'm sailing, sailing, sailing sailing away to get home to you. Who am I to you just a peasant with a heart or a number on a government chart or just a modern part with an ancient nose who knows the way to judgement day? Rainbows that are blue could never break on through as I'm sailing, sailing, sailing sailing away to get home to you.

Saint Vinny 01:51
Saint Vinny My head is drowning swirling in neglect, back porch swings, banjo, lemonade, Great Lake - my head is drowning. (My head is drowning) Passion for living, chatting, sharing (My head is drowning) our everything (My head is drowning) our bodies, our love (My head is drowning) grow old along with me drowning, drowning, drowning...

You & Me 03:19
You & Me Ready for the day in the morning light. Steady on the way straight into the night. Mountains seem to serve this anarchy, seems to be a bridge between you and me, you and me. Every time we find an obstacle we find another line to a miracle. You seem to want to compromise but I just want to let us fly, let us fly. You and me - both - we believe in dreams. But, you and me - both - we go to extremes. There's always time to sympathize and there's always something with your eyes, with your eyes. Tempted by the pull of the physical. Frightened by the wounds that are lyrical. The moon just wants to hypnotize. The stars just want to mesmerize you and me. Ancient is the theme with these brass rings but everywhere we turn there's everything - oh, yea! Everything is king as we are free to bring across the floor this shopping spree - oh, yea! You walked away from me just like a dream. You turned to say 'goodbye' with self esteem. The world is such a selfish place. You're gonna' miss my embrace, my embrace. Ready for the day in the morning light. Steady on the way straight into the night. Every time we find an obstacle... you and me - both. You and me - both - is an obstacle. You and me.

Tickle Moon 02:35
Tickle Moon Walking down 4th Avenue feeling shy but never blue. The pitter-patter skips when I'm right next to you. Talking about life and feeling fine with your profiled lips and almond eyes. I won't say 'hello' until our next 'good-bye.' And, I'm feeling all right with the rain in my eyes and the drip drop skip hop tickle moon tonight. Parrots, monks and beechwood trees if the answer's right, there's a kiss for me - skyline, hill top, South Slope in our eyes. I met you on a sober night. I didn't know quite what was right. You and me - both - were bashful with our minds. And, I'm feeling all right with the rain in my eyes and the drip drop skip hop tickle moon tonight. Squinting, lovely contact lens and I don't know what to do. I feel like I could lean right in, but I haven't got a clue. Just hold my hands right into the sun and don't let go 'til the evening's done with the drip drop skip hop tickle moon tonight. And, I'm feeling all right with the rain in my eyes and the drip drop skip hop tickle moon tonight.

Someone's Home Will she smile before she leaves, forget the people who will grieve? With battered truths and naked lies, someone's dreaming. And the trees will stop and stare down a winter road where no one cares. With heavy frost and far-flung birds, someone's grieving. Kiss the mourning air good-bye with a simper and smitten eyes. Hope she remembers who she's loved, someone's bleeding. Blame the distress when she flies with no wings and dreadful cries. Stroke her hand as she waves good-bye, someone's leaving. And when the tears begin to stray you will wander on your own. And tomorrow may forget today, but someone's home.

Autumn Girl 03:56
Autumn Girl You are my autumn girl. Why are you surprised? The wind blows your every curl and makes me realize, as I gaze into your eyes, that you are my autumn girl. Walking these city streets the leaves flow like sheets. Your hand entwined with mine, our love is divine. You are my autumn girl. Dance with me tonight. Round and round we twirl to everyone's delight. Side by side we sway and feel our hearts. I adore you in every way. We should not part. You are my autumn girl. Stay with me tonight. You are my only world, my beauty, my inner light. You are my autumn girl. Won't you hold me tight? You are my soul, my life. One day you'll be my wife. Kids and home, grow old with me. Hand in hand you'll see everyday we built this dream - you and me. You are my autumn girl.
